I know the Autotrans Interceptor works on our 4T45e trannies, but will the B&M Shiftplus work as well?

The 4T40e and the 4T45e use the same exact wiring harnesses and are very similar, but does anyone know if the B&M will work on our trannies?

I've given up on trying to find an Interceptor at a decent price. I just think that the B&M should work just fine since it uses the same general idea as the Autotrans, and the Autotrans works, so why shouldnt the B&M work?

 

noobish question but what is this Autotrans Interceptor i keep hearing about is it like shiftronic or auto stick?

 

It boosts the line pressure in an automatic transmission

It makes the transmission shift much faster and harder than stock

 

 

has anyone had any problems i.e. tranny is still shifting hard even when shift plus is off, or even removed ????

 

To switch from Stage 1 or 2 to stock you have to turn car off to the switch take effect.
The Autotrans Interceptor is a bit different then B&M, interceptor not only boost line pres. but also delays TCC. and it is fully adjustable, not an off on thing, you install it adjust it to your like and done, it will work like that for ever or until you completely remove it.
