I helped a buddy of mine install his hurst and it was a pain in the ass. The pivot ball had to be filed down to snap into the cable clamp. I didnt like the knob very much either. The whole thing just seemed cheap to me. My ottp took me like 20 minutes to install. Ill never use another shifter again

 

....weird, I absolutly love mine, I spent a few hours tweaking it but after I got it set its just wonderful.

I have the hurst. I am down to try a different one. Guess that means I don't like it lol

 

Hated hurst only one I'd get would be the BPS because it's reasonably priced and the same to better quality than TWM which is just overpriced. The OTTP isn't bad but I don't want a solid metal shift knob, been there done that and it's awful in cold and super hot weather.

 

I didn't know it was the best for tracking. I installed mine this year and i love it. Paid $100 brand new since they were discontinued. Cannot complain at all!

 

There is an option to get a delrin knob.

what cable clamp would u guys get the ottp one or the twm one

 

OTTP or BPS they all do the same thing, the TWM is just plain overpriced.

 

ya no kidding, I went with ottp with their short shifter.

 

Thanks for the code, just ordered one. I need to get some shift cables too, I hate the stock shifter but when it gets below 28 degrees I can't shift at all.
