BPS short shifter

So, I've been looking out at the different short shifter options for my SS\TC lately. The Hurst and B&M seems to have way too many bad reviews for me to even consider. The twm looks ok, but crazy expensive for me to even consider. Plus, I don't really like the fact that none of them offers the option to use the stock shift knob, which I like.

I finally found these guys:

Shifters-Sports Compact : Chevrolet - Billet Pro Shop

It looks to be a quality piece and it does allow to use the stock shift knob, which is quite awesome for me. Price tag is great, so I ordered it. Should be here in the next couple days, I'll post my review here. Could be a great option for a lot of people!

Received it and installed it, best mod I've done so far!

It's late and dark so I'll take pictures tomorrow and I'll post a full review as well. It's a great piece of hardware and I'm really happy with it. The throws are short and crisps, the feeling is precise and the installation was easy.

Interesting, I didn't even know this company existed. I tried to search for their knobs that you can use but couldn't find any, even though they specifically state they have other knobs to fit it. If they do have some other knob choices and this thing works well, it could be a very nice cheaper alternative to the twm

Interested in how you get the stock shift knob on an LNF OFF without causing damage to it or great pain to you.

I'll get the pictures up this weekend or tomorrow!

Been driving for two days with the short shifter and I'm super happy with it. The feeling is crisp and precise, the reverse lockout is much nicer to use than the stock one.

The base bushings were included with the shifter, which is good cause they do make a difference.

The attachment for the stock shift knob is pretty clever. There's threads on the shifter so you can install their shift knobs, but they also give you an adapter that you install on those threads and the outside is slotted to install the stock knob on it. theres also a hole on the shifter for the torx screw, so it's solid in place.

I had no problem removing the stock shift knob from the shifter and it went back on the stock shifter as easily.

Does it come with their knob or do you have to use the stock one?

I just wonder how similar it is to the Hurst and the twm shifter.

Sounds like its pretty solid, the only thing I'm curious about is what sort of knobs they offer, I contacted the company, so I hope to find out soon. They don't have any other knobs listed on their site

I'm using the stock shift knob, as I said it's the only one I found on the market that I could keep the stock shift knob. Contact them for other shift knobs, they say they have some maybe it's just not listed on their site yet?

I can compare to Hurst which I tried on another car and, well it does not even compare, it's so much better! The hurst wiggles everywhere and the reverse lock movement was rough, the BPS one feels solid and all the movements are smooth.

Does it come with any actual knob? Or do they expect you to use the stock one?

Sounds pretty damn awesome. I contacted them about other knobs so I just have to wait for a response.
