Clutch question, need help
Well my slave cylinder went out and i dropped the tranny, the clutch is pretty much shot. So does anyone have this clutch and know if it comes with a slave cylinder as pictured?

dont go with the centerforce clutch, IMO centerforce is garbage, i had one in my 400hp 5.0 Mustang and ended up changing it out for a ford motorsport racing clutch 700 miles down the road...i know completely different cars but i have also heard bad things about centerforce and this car as well i think you are better off going with Exedy.

I honestly would go with a stage 2, even though you dont plan on goin over 300hp its nice to know that if you get a wild hair or somethin you have the **** to back it up and put it on the ground, you will still have good street-ability and you will have the extra grip for when you might need it...spend the extra cash and go with a stage 2, you will like it in the long run.
the best tip i can give you is KEEP THE MASTER FULL otherwise you are gonna wind up spending an hour on a 15 min job lol, trust me on that one. Also try to get another person to give you a hand so someone can work the clutch pedal and someone can crack the bleeder and it shouldnt take much time at all

Not a smart decision...find a way to get the extra cash to go with exedy, you will be VERY disappointed with the centerforce and kick yourself in the ***** about 1000 miles down the road and wish you would have either waited for the exedy or robbed a gas station to get the extra money for it. Just opinion from my experiences with both companies, GO EXEDY
How do you know if your slave cylinder or your Master cylinder is bad? I'm having a problem with my car, gears wont go in, they only go in if the car is turned off. My mecanic bleeded out the clutch and the car was runing good for about 4 miles then the geard would not go in again. I have a stage 4 clutch from clutch masters.sometimes gears go in, but its really hard
any help?

Take the hairpin clip out of the quick disconnect clutch fitting on the bellhousing (behind the air inlet and between the ECU and the engine) and turn it over. YOu will probably see in the female q-d orifice, a little O ring in the socket of the q-d. Remove it carefully with a small pick and then put the o ring back on the male post for the q-d which is attached to the bellhousing. Then place the q-d back press firmly, reinstall the hair pin clip and bleed the clutch. I suspect that is the cure for your problem- the q.d is not seating right and causing the problem, assuming you have a new slave cylinder (csc) All the guys who have been chiming in about clutch abuse are 100% right. Put in an exedy its the best you can still screw it up if you ride the clutch or abuse it on downshifts and launches
