Good deal I wil def let you know. I had a lot of friends into cars and we helped each other out but obviously moving down here I don't know anyone ha. I'm swapping a blower kit on my car probably next month and could use help with that as well. (sorry to SPAM the thread )

 

Yeah when I did my 2.0(lsj) internals. It was a pain but with no hood or exhaust in the way it wasn't bad. I also had lift access and every tool imaginable at my friend's shop, Basically we undid everything and lowered the car from the engine instead of raising the engine out of the car.

 

Much, much easier to come out the bottom. I've done a couple of them on the ground in my driveway, I remove the cradle and right strut, use my hoist to lower the motor/trans onto a little cart and roll it out through the wheel well. Super simple and nothing special to get in the way, no removing the hood (matters for me since the car is outside, i'd just have to put it right back on and then take it off to go back in again) or exhaust other than the DP. All manifolds and everything can stay on the engine, I put a full LNF setup with turbo and all together on the stand and put the whole thing back in the car. Just hook it up and go.
