Drivetrain combination
I have a 2006 Cobalt SS supercharged with LSD trans that I will be swapping out for a n/a 2.4 for circle track racing (no forced induction per rules). Id like to keep the LSD or swap it for a f23 with quaife LSD. Also like to install the G6 knuckles to gain the quicker steering. What is the best cobination of oem parts to get there. ABS not needed.

Damn why don't you just try and snag a 2.4 Cobalt? They can be had pretty cheaply. A quaife LSD is expensive by itself. Do you really need quicker steering for a circle track (dirt?). It would make more sense if you are doing something with tight corners but for circle track seems like a wasted effort. Just my $.02. I'm not sure about the 2.0 to 2.4 but pretty sure all the harnesses would need swapped as well. However, a 2.4 will bolt up to the F35 transmission in your LSJ car.

Second ^. At least try to sell the 2.0 and buy a 2.4. You'll come out even or ahead moneywise and you wouldn't have gone through all the effort of swapping it. Unless you've modded the crap out of your LSJ already...

Its possible but easier to do what they said^

Motor is blown. Got it at auction for $850. I thought about bolting a 2.4 to the f35, doesn't that require a special flywheel or something? That would probly be the least expensive route. Ill be ripping the whole wiring harness out anyway. Ill probly mount the ecu inside the car on the dash. Its gonna get toally stripped here soon so gonna have some trim parts for sale.

Lnf is quicker lock to lock than the lsj. That would probably be easier than a g6 setup.

the 6 bolt clutch/flywheel setups will work with the f35, just make sure you remove the spacer thats between the engine and trans.
