Engine hop!

ok so i tried to do a search for this and didnt really even know what to search. i searched engine hop haha. anyways... im sure everybody has noticed engine hop. when you are in your fast and the furious mode, like i am sometimes, i tend to stomp the peddle to the floor to get the car to burnout or just take off. but as im sure everybody has noticed and im sure people have answered already somewhere. when you stomp on it from a stop your car will like be trying to burnout. it hops.

now what causes the engine hop? is there a cheap way to fix this. ive noticed reving the engine the engine moves ALOT! so im guessing some engine mounts woul help it but... im looking to find out for sure. so somebody help please.
thank u. and sorry if this is a repost.

every car can have problems with wheel hop.
for ours rotated mounts cure most of it.
i have ttr stop mounts after hearing so many people having wheel hop issues even after ott. just my experience. i have virtually no wheel hop unless im on a bad road surface. no vibes really either.

^^^ lucky... i still get mad wheel hop with my stage 2 mounts. vibes arent too bad unless its fkn hot out. luckily i live and canada and hot weather happens for like a month tops. traction bars help a lot when i really want to hammer it but most of the time they arent on my car.

once i get a job and some disposable income im going to be investing in new axles. they are also supposed to help combat the hop quite well.

I just installed one, set it to 10mm and noticed a HUGE difference. It will still hop a little, but its much better, I don't get that "oh god my poor axles" feeling anymore. It also helps with shifting and engine response. If you don't race your car on a track this will probably suffice.

basically the only way i found out was my friend who is a tech. i took it in for some warranty work and he noticed splits in the bushings. got me brand new control arms under warranty and the wheel hop went away i have powell race shop spherical bushings ready to go in now as well
