Don't think about it......just get it.....problem free and it grips like no other....I recommend no other clutch than this. Hands down this is THE BEST clutch for the SS/SC

Today, I've been wot from 1st to 3rd, the clutch bites hard through every shift. Anyone who gets it will love it.

Update: Tranny Noise

1. When you let off the gas, you'll hear some audible noise from the tramission. I have had this noise since the day it was in.
This is documented and is a normal sound.

2. Seldom you'll get one loud pop from the tranny when putting some load on, ie launch, downshift. The car is unaffected the clutch still grabs hard and will pull normally.

That is one of my Fav clutches. Exedy did a great job with that one. Hard one to try and push due to the price on it. However, in this case you get what you pay for.

hows the shifting at high rpms, i know my clutchmasters sucks anything above 7k and it doesnt want to release, hence why my car is in the shop for a busted shifter cable. I want to get this clutch setup so bad but dont have the money right now.

It has no problem disengaging at high rpm. No better or worst than stock.

I've definitely gotten use to the pedal pressure. Although I didn't feel as hard as when I first used it, I was re afirmed of it stiffness when everyone that handled my car at the car wash stalled out. This car really belongs only me now. hehe

so the only real difference is pedal effort?
everything else seems to be similar to stock?
if so, i can deal with that.

also have you tried all gears in wot yet?

I did the install myself, it's not too bad. I've got to pull the transmission out again though because my slave cylinder desided to crap out. It took me about 10 hours to do everything. But I've done lots of transmissions in other cars before so I knew the basics.

We have them cheaper than $1500 gotta remember it is a clutch and flywheel both.

Sold many of these and all our customers are happy, it seems like a good setup.

i do realize they can be cheaper. i wasn't going to **** anyone off and say a different price.

it's amazing, you can get a clutch for a f-body or fox body with flywheel for well under a grand, and yet the sport compact world gets raped.

I never heard that. Hmmm hope not, the friction material in the disc is pretty thin though.

the initial cost of the hyper single is high, BUT. you can get replacement wear plates on the flywheel, and replacement discs for pretty cheap
