hey you guys i have been searching for stronger axles for the ss sc for a while now that dont cost over $500 and i found them they are soppossed to be a little stronger then stock, they are made thicker. and their only 150 each any one interested

Are they from Cardone? I ordered a driver's side through a local shop and that's what they gave me for $160. I told the dealership what to do with the $550 they wanted for a stocker.

 

their is no link for them because i did not find them on the internet i just had them ordered they are new gm axles but with a few differnt parts in them which makes them stronger i had them made because i broke 4 gm ones myself i can get pics if you want

It has a larger outer cv and a thicker center bar they look alot like the stage 2 axles but i have no way of telling how much extra power they can handle but for cheaper then stock it sounds like a deal for me

 

Do you get these new axles at a GM dealer?..

 

no i have a auto parts wharehouse in nj so i had the parts department get them made for me

Can you explain again how you found these and where you got them and how you are sure they are stronger?

 

well i managed to keep breaking mine and my father has a auto parts wharehouse so i just kept buggin him to find me new axles and after a lil bit this is what he came up with. i also took off an axle from my car to measure it up and the outer cv is bult bigger, and the shaft is 30thousands thicker

 

Who makes them?

 

I will try and find that out when i go to work tommorow.
