Okay okay sheesh, I'm just trying to be sure. Thanks Leemanfor for letting me know haha.
I'll order one today.
Just to be clear on what I'm ordering I need
GMPP Clutch
Clutch Pipe
LSJ Flywheel
Bolts
If so I will order

Based only upon the pictures in the OP, the shock buffering springs in the two discs appear to be different. Not because the colors are different, but to me it looks like the top picture seem to have smaller coils which are wound tighter. That could just as easily be an illusion based upon two different sized pictures take from different perspective. It would be good to know though.

So to be clear, the GMPP clutch you all speak of is the LSJ Upgrade clutch available from CED?
Ecotec LSJ Clutch Upgrade Kit 19212712
I was on the fence between a stock LNF clutch and a KY Stage 3, but wanted to consider other things in between... it seems like from what you guys are saying GMPP clutch will bolt right up to LNF transmission and work with LNF flywheel while holding up to 350-380 WTQ?

springs falling out also have to do with incorrect shock height. I used to build jeeps and trucks before getting into my cobalt. Solid axle swapped a late model bronco, built 3 jeep wranglers with lcog suspensions, and never bought a kit, always assembled the syetem with parts of my choice. CM springs are a great dd spring, dont sell em short because someone didnt know how to set up their suspension correctly.

My CM springs are en route... Heard nothing but good things about them (except from John, but that's to be expected, they're competitors). The YYZ and CM are not even in the same category.
YYZ are great PERFORMANCE springs handles way better than stock, almost no drop...
CM is a good LOWERING spring. Decent drop. Handles close to stock.
YYZ=$322+shipping
CM=$179 shipped
I don't track my car, just drive it spirited on the street... As far as the clutch goes, I think I'll go with GMPP. It sounds like it's a little stronger than LNF stock clutch, but a bit lower than KY Stage 3 clutch... $260 cheaper than KY clutch too...

I sold them and got pedder springs.
Now I'm happy

I liked CM Springs initially, but as the days went on, I didn't like the quality of the ride anymore. I went to (yes new) Pedders springs and I was surprised how much more comfortable the ride was. Granted the rear doesn't look very low, but to me the stance isn't that bad.
You tell me what you think?
I too will be ordering my GMPP Clutch next week. I will hopefully install it next weekend. I'm gonna see if a local Cobalt owner will help me install it. I'm scared because I normally pay people to work on my car so it'll be a good learning experience, but my pessimistic side thinks it'll break or I'll install it wrong.
How do you plan on installing it?

I don't think CM Springs are bad, I just didn't like them as much as Pedders, but my CM springs were significantly better than my eibach springs. I hated the ride on those.

haha, no thank you. I'm perfectly happy with 360whp in my K04+. I don't wanna be any faster and if I get that bug, I'll just throw in E85 and get closer to 400whp. Speed isn't everything to me, but I do enjoy it, there's other priorities for me.

As for Pedders I really want to try a set if they are better than CM's that is saying a lot in my opinion.

360 is the most you will ever get out of the K04, you wont get near 400 with it. Go look at the dyno thread with "k04 power". Push it much harder and you will be like the ummteenth LNF with "rebuilding" in their signature.

And in that dyno thread I am #9 (with Trifecta, now HPT) and should be #3. I'm aware of the thread and I will be the only one running pump gas in the top 5 and with E85/47 I can be number 1.

Which I hope the GMPP Clutch will hold

I would like to rebuild the clutch myself, but with full time work and school I'll have to pay someone else to do it. Pkus the car broke down 207 miles away from my house... That doesn't help it either.
As far as springs, CM seem to get pretty good reviews for what they are, so I'll give them a shot.

I don't have a "K04" I have a K04+, they're a little different. I'm making 360 on 91 octane and I WILL get closer to 400 with E85 and no I won't be including "rebuilding" in my sig to do so.
