got my trans fully built.....need input

As the title says got my trans built ........fully cryotreated 4.05 finalt drive tighter torque specs, etc......only thing is I can here my gears when I'm driving. But everything works fine shifts are sharp and smooth....my only ques is..is my trans supposed to be louder then normal.....

Lol I'm far from racecar...but with this trans def feels like it.....throttle responce is faster ...seriously any input?

doesnt have straight cut gears does it. im highlyyyy doubting it but ya never know

Straight cut gears were talked about but $$$$$$ was needed..... So I did the best I could with factory parts....streghtening them in everyway possible

Within in the next month or so ill be making an easy 550whp......stock motor....the reason I wanted a strong tranny is because I want to find a way to stregthen these so we could still nls with breaking ****...I don't wanna pull it out again just to put another that would break......but its def stronger then before shifts are smooth but can't say what power I'm at now....haven't dynoed...I just want a reliable trans

I already changed the fluid....I changed it at 300 or so....it did get quieter a bit but its still annoying....if this breaks I'm selling for sure....and for cheap

Lol 550hp(crank) maybe like high 400s whp....its been done here in my area before so not impossible....if I even do it now....looking at a z06......

For sure it's not impossible, but it doesn't mean it will be reliable. Keep on mind that ZZP started to bending rods after 500whp, when they were testing the resistance of the stock block.

Lol I know 2 to 3 guys here in houston that make close to 500whp if not more then and there cars have been running for 7 to 9 months now? Give or take a month....not to worry dude...I will get my rods treated if that's the case and then get valve springsetc..... I plan on making sure this thing will hold up with no problem....I'm sure it can just don't really know if ill enjoy it since the lack of traction and alll......and got my gears treated at arizona someplace

bro im telling you this now, just get the built internals for the motor man. im over the 500 mark in houston as well but i have my engine built. stock trans too.

The tranny sounds like it does because of the tighter tolerances. But that's not really a "fully built tranny". And you wanna take the time to cryo treat stock rods and not just put in a set of k1's or zzp rods?

Lol tranny rebuilt cost me. 1400with labor and cryotreatment instaled in all...great deal...and stilll holding up and no I know stock motor can handle my powerrange with no sweat...and yes ryan your car is oe of the ones I'm refering too....imin houston... I just need a yes or. No....do I need cams? Or just skip thaat and do 5th injector
