Exclamation help!

Ok did my trannie fluid change today. Went to royal purple. Shifts a hell of a lot smother! But when I pulled back n the driveway I left the. Car running whale I was cleaning up and I head a ticking. Coming from driver side tire area (trannie) I don't no if I'm just bn paranoide and its always been there or if its an issue. I can't hear any ticking whale driving my I have straite pipes and its loud as ****

R u sure it wouldn't b something I may of did wrong when changing the fluid?

out of curiousity do you have your a/c or defrost on. my car started making a loud clicking noise when the a/c was initiated. also if you have your vent selector set right at the floor it is actually partially in the defrost mode, causing your a/c to turn on.

No I had my heat on.... I think yawl r right about it bn the heat shield.. I went out about a hr ago and started it and it sounded normal.... wnt to the store and when I got back I heard it again.

thats not usually the typical symptoms of a heatshield though. if it were a heat shield it would do it all the time not just after warm up.

the problem with this internet diagnoisis is that we all assume basics are ok. Did you check your engine oil lately? did you leave a wrench in the engine bay? did you etc...
