HELP! Broke one of the pivot cup things while installing B&M.. WTB replacement?

I was installing the B&M short throw shifter and I ended up doing something pretty stupid, I thought that that small pivot cup was supposed to go into that grey linkage adapter (picture included). I ended up breaking that little pivot cup and now there is no way for the bottom of the shifter to attach. Does anyone have a part number for that piece?

As you can see there is no pivot cup in there anymore, I have been searching through close by salvage yards with no luck as all the Cobalts are automatic. Any ideas, my car is just stuck here.

Anyone know the part number though, without that GMpartsdirect is kind of worthless unless they actually can tell me the part number?

It really isn't

Go to your dealer with this part number and ask them for a picture of what it is.

That part number says cable? That must be the whole linkage?

I wonder if I take just that part in there (The dealership) if they would be able to match it?

Alright heres what happened, I went to the dealership and looked it up, that part number was just for the cable, the pieces that I need are contained in the whole shifter which ranges from 125-188 on gmpartsdirect. The thing is there are two different 5 speed shifters it looks like an MU3 (pn 25815049) and m86 (pn 15257212).

It kind of sucks but I was looking at the diagram and it looked like that little linkage piece comes attached to the shifter which makes sense since it is factory greased and inserted. Anyone know which shifter I need? Or if there is a way to get just that part?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe us SS guys use the MU3 trans.

Or, you can try victoryredss.

That would be my luck, the more expensive one, what is the m86, the non ss 5 speed? You would think that the linkage would probably remain the same

Ed Morad who does alot of the Wbody parts sells Jbody parts on ebay too, I bought wheelbearings from him when I had my GTP. Luckily it looks like he has the whole shifter unit for 59 bucks on ebay.... I think I may have gotten really lucky!
