do you know if you can take the whole reverse lockout off of the shifter assembly? mine doesnt work anyways so i was gonna take it off completely..

I bought last Saturday from modernperformance.com and I just got it today in along with my springs. All I can say is I love the way it looks, and can't wait to install it.

 

Just don't use it. And if you adjust the cables the shifter works just fine.

 

do you like how tall it is? i would like to make it shorter if at all possible...i dont know much about this kind of stuff

 

Height doesn't bother me.

it's obviously not as tall as the stock one so anything is better.. I like the b&m but i really really love the hurst

So..the only trouble people were having with the reverse lock-out was because of improper cable adjustments?? I want to make sure, because I will not buy a product that doesn't work appropriatly..

 

Yeah, when we first put mine in reverse lockout didn't work either, but we had to adjust the left cable that adjust where the shifter sits left to right and moved the shifter right about 1/2-3/4" and then reclipped the cable and reverse lockout worked perfectly.

 

In that case, I will be getting one..I think I would prefer the Hurst over B&M..Thanks for the info..
