i use to NLS my SS/SC all the time on my spec stage 3+ clutch

NLS does infact shave time at the track. Every little thing helps.

I've been NLS and side stepping off 2step using WOT Box for over year with many track passes.

Never did like that Exedy clutch ever since Dan got one of the first ones years ago.

OP picture looks like driver error to me.

I know. His car probly should have died a long time ago but runs as good as ever. He'll tell u too, thats cars a freak :lol:

It is indeed the Hypersingle. I have it on my car and haven't had an issue. Oscar also had it and it held up for the nitrous pulls just fine. This guy does drive the snot out of his car tho and likes to break parts lol

Just more proof to everyone that anything can happen with any clutch/MFG out there. No one clutch is 100% godlike.

His Trans cracked as well. There was a massive tranny/clutch failure that went down. Im not sure if he contacted Exedy but he bought a new one anyway along with a ZZP S2 Tranny.

for sure he should contact exedy. exedy replaced bolus' clutch for free. a free $1,200 clutch would help him at the moment i'm sure. lol

Im sure they a disclaimer of some sort relieving them of responsibility but they should replace the clutch

He's welcome to contact them and ship the box of pieces back to them lol. We have it all saved. But he already bought a new one and ZZP S2 trans. Im sure he could sell the free one tho and recoop some of our fees :)

I would say exedy does have a claims department like anyone selling parts does. Only thing is he will have to prove to them it was a part failure and not a end user error. Most claims are denied if anyone wants to know the truth lol.
