Installing F40

As the title states I'm installing the F40 trans onto my 06 Redline. I have no instructions but it looks fairly straight forward, just have a few questions.
First I think mine is one of the original kits, bought it 4 years back or so. Any problems with the original kits I should know?
I read somewhere about needing a shim behind the TOB, is that a thing because I don't have it?
Any other info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

On the bracket that going on transmission that holds shifter cable in place I had a problem with one cable not locking in and it would bind up and pop off pivot ball and we didn't use a spacer behind TOB you should be using f40 TOB and clutch pipe but the kit is pretty str8 forward i was missing some bolts I have a OFF from zzp of install if you need

Ok, mine has some solid mount for shift cables I'll have to see once I get trans in place. Have proper TOB and such so I should be good then.

Ya same here on the solid mount but you can see where they made that bracket and welded when you stick them in place try to pull up on them and get in car and wiggle the **** out of it putting in gear and all that
