launching the automatic with no T/C in regular Drive

last night after what happend to me that i explained in the other thread, i figured i would experiment with launching the car in drive with t/c . well it worked and here is what you do to get a great launch without manually shifting... at a stop you have the tranny in the "D" position tq brake up to about 1500 rpm, pull on the E-brake just enough until you see the T/C light come on the dash but make sure the ebrake never clicks on the light will come on without engaging the brake while holding it make the launch then after traction has been gotten let off the ebrake and go. hope this was informaitive for the people that are looking to race their auto cobalts.
