LSJ clutch on L61/LE5 flywheel

Just like the title says, is it possible? I know the flywheels are different, 6 bolt vs 8 bolt. But no one specifies if you can use an lsj clutch with the 6 bolt flywheel. Reason being I can find a new lsj stage 2 clutch for a steal and I dont want to have to buy a stage 2 clutch for the le5 for 300-400 dollars.

Zzp makes a flywheel for this but the factory ones wont work. 8bolt clutches are a half inch bigger in diameter than 6bolt clutches.

Thanks, thats the kind of info I was looking for. Depending on price I may just have to get an aftermarket LE5 clutch. Car is making 240-250 whp, do you think an oem would hold up fine or would I need a stronger clutch?

I've had questionable results with OEM clutches on boosted 2.4 cars. It's a function of driver really, if you drive sensibly and baby the clutch you can make it take a LOT of power. If you plan to NLS and bang gears like it's a stock N/A car, it won't last.

250 should hold depending on your setup

Yea the clutch already had 109k miles on it and slipped 1st to 2nd before the added power so I think it was already on its way out. Thanks guys I appreciate it.

I know there are some exedy clutches on ebay that are pretty cheap. I personally recommend KY clutch, just make sure whatever you do, give it the proper break in.
