Unless you go f/i, you shouldn't have to worry about it.

Well, you can as YellowLT said, get a flux capacitor, buy an SS/SC, or don't live in kentcuky, and you should be good to go!

lol, j/k, just get that tranny beefed up, or switch it out if you want serious HP. But there are cheaper ways of getting a faster car, make it lighter!

I wouldnt push the stock rods past 230 to be safe. Block is good till like 800, crank is 400 if i remember correctly.

All this is in the build book

I plan on doing a lot of upgrades, im going with a turbo, and im gonna do all the internal component mods, cam shaft and stuff like that. Im looking to get like 300+ horsepower. And i dont wanna trade for an SS SC, because id rather have the Fastest street ls than a mediocre SS SC. But thats just me.

If you're looking for an engine to purchase that already has all the forged internals...I'm selling my engine...

Nah, i plan on doing all the work myself, what kinda power did ur cobalt pump out?

What kind of horsepower will i gain from a camshaft? Can i put a camshaft now, and see noticable gains?

Mine with the 75 shot was probably right around 200hp probably. With camshaft only, you're looking at 10-15hp with only stage 1. You cannot do any stage higher without some sort of tuning. You're reallying shooting yourself in the foot if you don't have your head ported and polished for that will give you more cfms and more hp.

If you for some reason change your mind, it's still there....

I'm still waiting for someone to beat the 14.6...

^ going to be obsolete in about 2 months...

Wait, I take that back, you can still use the info that's in there now, but a new build book is coming very soon.

Most if not all machine shops would be able to do it but it's going to cost you a pretty penny. The best thing you could possibly do is buy the Patriot stage 2 head that's fully built for you and ported and polished. Here's a link:

yea in order to use the m62 and not have belt binding or spiping issues you must use the stock belt with the stage 2 pully becouse the stage 2 belt is smaller it binds the dampener..
