New gmp upgraded clutch arrived!!
alright as some of you may know i just bought a G85 Trans, and just got my GMP clutch kit in this morning. I will be doing the swap this evening. I wanted to let everyone on here know that is considering going with this clutch kit and doing the install THEMSELVES, That the kit DOES NOT come with the alignment clutch tool nor does it reccomend on CED's website that it is suggested or and optional part for more money. I wont have a problem being a tech i can get ahold of one but for those of you that are considering going with the clutch keep this in mind. Ill let everyone know how she holds, when im done with the break in period and i go to the track

Just did same gmp clutch, but clutch only disengages when fully touching the floor. Any ideas as to why? Bled it multiple times. Sounds yours work fine, cant wait 4 that grip.

honestly man unless your turbo swapped youre not gonna have an issue. The big determining factor about me getting this clutch was maxim, The LSJ the goes to the track and has really good power and hasnt had one issue with this clutch. but again you could have the best clutch in the world and abuse it so it doesnt operate right

how do you do the break in i would think you just put it in aand then drive it is there a certin way do you have to break in all clutches cause i just got mine replaced and they said nothing about breaking it it mind you its not a gmp clutch its a luk i was told its better than the exeady stage1 and cheaper

Very cool, I hav this clutch waiting to be installed. it's finally getting warm enough to get outside and do this. Have you had the opportunity to take it to the track yet?
