when im driving down the road,every once in awhile,my power steering will go out.It will pop up on the odometer "POWER STEERING".Once it pops up all i have to do is turn the car off and turn it back on,and it works fine for awhile.The main time it comes on is when i do a U turn or when i turn sharply.sometimes it wont come back on all night,and other times it wont stop doing it,its very inconsistent.I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions,because its under warranty,its just that its so inconsistent,that i dont take it in because i cant get it to do it all the time.Any help is appreciated.Thanks.

 

that happened to me i had to get my whole steering colum replaced

 

replacing the steering column fixes it
