quick question for anyone with a TWM shifter
quick question for anyone with a TWM shifter
on the shifter there is the 2 spots that connect to the shift cables, the bottom one and the one that comes off the side of the big ball, when you received your shifter did the one that comes off the side of the big ball already have the plastic piece on it that slides into the connection to the shift cables, or did you have to put the piece on yourself?
the piece i am talking about is the white plastic cylinder close to the right border of this picture

so either all 32 people who looked at this don't have a twm shifter, or nobody can tell me wether or not the white cylinder at the right border of the picture came on their shifter, or if it came in the bag of parts
I think they forgot mine to.. I have something improvised with electric tape and one of the plastic spring ends for the reverse lockout, it feels so sloppy..
and no the piece i am talking about does not come off the stocker
and no the piece i am talking about does not come off the stocker
here is my stock shifter next to the twm,
the stock shifter has no white cap there, it has a ball that fits into the connection to the cable, where the twm has a smaller ball, so it needs that white cap to go over it
if I wasn't clear enough, and you guys think I am talking about the cable clamp that goes on the bottom of the shifter, I have circled the part I am talking about so everyone will know what part I mean

I never got one with mine, I was curious as to if it came in the parts bag or on the shifter, thanks for answering my question,
I have improvised something for now, but it is sloppy, I will call twm tomorrow and hopefully have one here before friday

Email sent, I was going to call you guys tomorrow morning, thanks for the reply, and the customer service, I cannot wait to get this missing part
Also,
I in no way made this thread to talk bad about you guys, I was just curious to know if there was a possibility I could have lost the part, thanks once again
