I had a problem first with the shifter linkage and i adjusted it so it is even again but when i am in Neutral and not in the clutch i can move the shifter up and down a couple inches with out it engaging, is it suposed to be like that? When i shift in to gears it does not seem like it is even in gear or that it wants to pop out. I am having a friend look at it during spring break but i just wanted to know if it was something i can do. I did the shifter linkage adjustment already but that did not get rid of the slop

Is it the stocker? I got a STS and a torque damper and that firmed up my shifts. Other then that I dk what you can do

I expect you are right on the roll pin - makes it feel like the cables are made of rubber, sloppy as hell, pops out of gear sometimes.
