HOLY SHIT REALLY I DIDN"T KNOW ANY RWD PLATFORM COULD JUST DROP INTO AnY OTHER RWD PLATFORM... that being said.. your point is moot.. i know they're both RWD however doing evrything to make all the engine and drivetrain components is different yes they had an easier time then expected but my point is they dropped a totally different drive train in the car then what came with it .. so why not

^^^what for? dude hasn't posted pics, so he's obviously a troll.

EVEN IF someone could pull this off, it is just gonna be a mess. The car was designed for FWD, so converting it to RWD will make it unbalanced as hell.

So much gayness in this thread
|
RWD cobalt would be useless. Handling would be terrible, so would traction unless you tub the rear and run slicks.
What I want to see and I feel would be much easier than building a rwd car, take a wrecked EVO 7/8/9 or eclipse GSX and transplant all the parts into the Cobalt. The motor is oriented correctly the width and length of the cars and components are similar. Of course this would require exstensive fabrication and time to build. |
