ok so iv noticed over the past couple days 2nd gear has been getting harder and harder to shift into. and i took it out for a run to night not full throttle but like 50% to about 5k rpm in 1st gear tryed to shift into 2nd and i had to dam near force it the **** into gear. i dont beat on my car and i dont usually do any runs from a stop usually from abuot 40mph. but i pretty much have double clutch to get it into gear if i rev 1st gear anything past 3k rpm. if i go above that i have to clutch shift to netural off then clutch again to go into 2nd. i think this would be a sychro problem but wouldnt that affect every other gear.?
i kno a little bit about cars but nothing transmission wise so help me out hear
im gonna bring it to the shop tomorrow see if theyll do anthing also threw a cel tonight but i think it has to do more with my intake but again im not sure.

um any help guys

Sounds like a synchro problem, correct me if I am wrong, but I think 2nd gear has its own synchro. I don't know a whole lot about transmissions either but that sounds like it to me.

 

well im takeing it to chevy as soon as it opens which is in about 1 1/2 hrs from now so ill see what theyll do for me

ok well i over slept like an idiot so i havent gon to chevy yet
but i only seem to have a problem shifting 1st to 2nd at high rpms i can downshift fine and if i keep it below 3k in 1st it shiftes into 2nd almost perfectly
anyone else wanna chime in and give some opinions on what it might be talked to my fried he a pretty good mechanic and he said it might be the linkage and to check that 1st befor going to chevy
