They keep the engine/trans from moving too much giving a better throttle response.

Dunno if you need them to cure hop, any hop you are getting is probably a product of shitty tires.

if you are talking about the polyurethanne mounts, the idea behind them is that they sitffen up the mountings for the transmission, allowing better transfer of power to the ground, smoother shifts, less wheelhop, etc.

you know how when you are sitting in neutral and push on your gas the engine moves because of newtons third law? yeah, same thing happens to your tranny. stiffer tranny mounts = less movement = less power wasted and put right to the ground. Your car will shake more though (kinetic energy's a bitch)

Yes, and on a lower HP application, they will help with wheelhop

F35 guys should get the rotated trans mounts.

ZERO hop.

Not "almost none" I haven't hopped since we put them in.

forgive my ignorance, F35, is that the 2.0 guys or no?

And something else I've always wanted to know. That energy has to go somewhere.......does it make it more likely I'll break an axle?

I bet it wasn't ripped.

They are supposed to have spaces in between them and when the mold them sometimes extra rubber gets in the spaces.

And yes, the F35 is LNF/LSJ and the reason they hop more is axle alignment, the reason why the rotato mounts work is because they re align the axles.

The reason why the crappy contis cause hop on the LS/LT cars is because they hold, then let go, hold, then let go.

I had KDW IIs and mounts on my old SS/NA and could only get hop if I got really stupid.

OTTP makes the ones for the F35...the F23 rotated mounts do not exist.

I am sure if there was enough demand for them, the could be made though.

It is noticeable but it is a sacrifice you make for performance.

I just checked OTTP's site. they don't have any listed, are you sure it was them?

The reason why they don't have them listed is because they USED to work on a core system.

You used to send them in and they would do their thing and send them back.

NOW they are making pretty billet ones. I have them on my car FROM OTTP.

BTW OTTP FTW.

Cheaper than axles or a trans.

I am pretty sure the billet ones will be less than 250
