Well the upper engine mount is in design for about a week now, within a week we should have it done and around 2 more weeks after that to test. Mid Feb we should have the upper engine mount, and 2.0 trans bushings shipping

I would also love if the trans bushing don't make your car vibrate to a bunch of loose plastic from them.

Are any of the mounts your working on going to fit the automatics.

Good to hear.

Can the trans mounts be purchased separately or only as a set?

The Cobalt Solid upper engine mount is about 1 week out

This will be a 100% complete replacement of the stock OEM upper engine mount.

We will post some pictures in the next few days of this unit.

Cobalt owners will have a GREAT new product very soon. We custom make each one to order, powder coating each one to your specifications, and also allowing you to choose the bushing color (Red, Blue, or Black)

Estimated price will be LESS THAN the Ingalls. So no more bent brackets, hassle, etc, just a great mount!

The 5 speed bushings are still about 2 weeks out as we are making the mold for the bushings. You will be able to purchase the upper engine mount seperate from the 2.0L 5 speed bushings (bushings will only be sold as a set of 2)

2.2L 5 speed bushings and automatic mounts are on the list however no ETA yet (best guess late spring or early summer 2007)

Will the upper motor mounts that you have ready fit the automatics or just the 5 speeds?

From what we have found all the cobalt upper engine mounts are the same, so it does not matter what transmission you have. We were just getting at the 2.0 SS SC 5 speed bushings are not the same as the 2.2L 5 speed trans bushings. However we will get them produced.

turbo tech, will the added vibrations throught the car make a higher level of fatigue throughtout the car..? This is the only thing holding me back from getting solid motor mounts.. i mean a paper clip comes to mind, except vibrations are faster then bending a paper clip.

The vibrations we tend to design for, at max, will not cause your car to fall apart. Yes there will be more, as it is more solid, however this has been a practice for many many years. The vibs are normally minimal with our mounts compared to other brands, however you cannot eliminate all of them, back to an OEM mount.
