TWM short shifter/w Momo shift knob

I finally got around to taking pics of my TWM shifter installed. I just added this Momo shift knob and it made a huge difference in comfort, it's almost hard to believe. It shifts much smoother and doesn't burn my hand like the titanium knob lol. I highly recommend this shift knob for its comfort and it goes great with the interior.

That looks good. I am MAD tho man because I have been tring to keep up with TWM about the production of the Short Shifter for the SS/SC and they keep procrastinating about when it is coming out. I think that I have enough with them and Hurst that I may be ordering the B&M here soon. Congrates man, how was the install on the shifter and then the new knob?

He's probably thinking "Oh crap!"

Does TWM make a short throw for the 2.0's yet?

did you get it without the knob, or just take the "Stock" one off?

K to answer some of the questions:

The install is fairly simple and it comes with great step by step instructions with pictures that you can also access on www.twm.com . The momo knob itself is not a direct fit that screws all the way on, it uses the little adapter pieces and hex screws. At first I wasn't sure about that, but it fits on great and is extremely snug with no play in it.

The TWM short shift kit fits both the 2.2 and 2.4 models. It comes with an aluminum shift knob that can be seen in a few posts around here. This knob tends to get very hot in the sun and in general I found it to be a bit uncomfortable. TWM offers various weighted knobs that I haven't tried but others on the site have.

And as far as the way the knob is facing, I'm pretty sure this is the correct way. It fits the contour of the hand. Aslo it is important to note that this knob from Momo actually has nice wieght to it, no cheap light feeling. It feels close to the weight of the one that came with the shifter.

Looks like your momo shift knob is on backwards. Maybe it's just me.

it looks like it sits a lot lower, like a lot closer to the gearbox than the B&M shifter, think so??
