For The Vendors

Ok I've changed my oil twice so far, and my cap for the oil canister sucks, that soft plastic just strips away. So here is my proposal can/do any of the supporting vendors here, know of or can make a metal replacement for this cap?

Mods I wasnt sure where to put this but move it where you see fit.

I guess you and I are the only ones who found this out, Yellow.....

I'll be doing my first oil change on the ss tonight - I'll see if there is any items in the summit catalog that might work for the cap/cover.

best regards -

Im talking about the cap to the Oil Filter Canister. The one that you have to remove in order to changing the oil filter, it's the one that is a huge pain in the ass cause of the intake manifold.

See the black thing in the lower right hand corner, with the huge nut on top. I want a replacement for that

That is what I thought those other caps were for - but looking at them, they would be HUGE if the threas were correct -

Again - I'll measure that cap tonight and look through summit - someone must have something that will work.

That factory cover looks way to fragile and out of place.

The big part of it is that it has the space on the under side for the filter to clip into.
