The thing that i hate bout the ls/lt's is that they only rev to 4000 rpm's... that sucks ass... How can i make my cobalt rev higher...???

Sounds like you drive an automatic...

If that's the case, the only thing that cures a rev limiter is a tune. If you want it to rev above factory set limits, or have it shift higher, not only will you need a tune but also supporting hardware (valvetrain mainly) to support the extra revs (if you go above 7500 IMO, I'm not familiar with the 2.2).

Maybe someone has a better answer as to how many revs the 2.2 can handle, but what I think you're mainly getting at is you want the limiter gone. Tune that thing.

Are you revving in park? The only way I know of is a tune but, why rev in park? Should be racing

No you don't need F/I for a tune.... just hit up Trifecta and he can hook you up with a tune.... the single best mod one can do...

increases in gas milage, performance, and frankly reliability!
