What went wrong here ?.........
Bought a new urethane engine mount, When I applied it I did notice that I had to jack the engine up about 3/4 " more than the stock one coming out. Now my car is very loud, I sound like my exhaust is coming apart. Vibration in the car is very noticeable-but I knew that was a trade off. After 10 miles or so I brought it home and rechecked the bolts with a torque wrench and all is fine. Got under the car and see no problems. Looks great on the car. (the engine mount) I cannot seem to figure out why it is so loud. Anyone else think there ride got like 3 times louder after this install ? I am not putting names of vendors because this may be something I did and do not want unwarranted anguish placed on anyone. Ideas ? Thanks.
I can live with the loudness, Is it exhaust ? I mean , it sorta sounds bad , no ? I mean, a header and free flowing exhaust would sound NICE, a car with a muffler not working (for any reason) sorta sounds crappy...
Hackabuse my lights are ONEX 10000K HID lights from Unleek
Well, I am guessing that this is just a case of "If its' too loud-Your too old"
It is just showing my age...
Now I just need to decide whether I should keep it or let it go.
Never expected something lke this to be the cause.
Thanks for all the input everyone-You all know it is appreciated and I will help others when I can.
P.S. Thank Goodness(I am religious not a Fruit) I didn't Dis anyone while writing- See , think a little before you speak goes a long way-Usually I stick my foot in my mouth !
