Wheel Bearings?

Anyone know if wheel bearings are covered under Powertrain warranty?

I believe i have one going

yesm.

at least thats what my service manager said. only problem is that they only started grinding after 60k miles had passed.

Good luck finding a dealer that will actually warranty them. They technically shouldn't be covered because the powertrain warranty is intended to be engine and transmission ONLY. You MIGHT find a dealer that's desperate for business and/or has a lax warranty rep that will let them get away with it.

usually there is a loud grinding noise coming from the wheel area.
