because simply filling the engine mount does not solve the issue behind the wheel hop. buy the ott mounts.

do the rotated mounts work on the base model manuals?

Some stiffer springs will help too. If he's on stock fe1 suspension, that's part of the issue.

Phil the reason you have wheel hop with solid mount is because solid mounts dont cure wheelhop

Youve got used suspension right? and stock control arms. Both of those things are contributing factors, especially if your struts are worn.

Ive got all stock mounts, Time Attack style control arm bushings and TC struts, I still get wheel hop too, you really need to be careful when its slippery out, you can do some real damage if you hop alot.

HAte to break it too yeah, but SS suspension still suffers from wheel hope.

Brad is right, you may want to look into SS FLCA's and OTTP/Powell CAB's

The TC struts do help to reduce wheelhop on the 2.2s because the damping is so much better, but John on Co. do need to get on some mounts, more and more people are asking now.....

Sorry to thread jack, but i have a related questions since were talking about suspension here.. I have an ss/sc on stock struts (24k miles) and H&Rs because i love the drop, but i hate the poor driving.. Which would be more wise: Get tc struts, get konis, or save up and go coilovers? I dont really wanna spend money on coilovers, but i do understand you gotta pay to play..

were on the topic here, so why make a new thread when the experts are putting opinions on this thread? I have searched but i want opinions from experienced reviews rather than random thoughts on products
