Hey guys I recently rolled my 06 lsj with 100k on it and just bought a 2.4 ss to swap the motor into and the lsj tranny was having trouble going into 2nd gear so I'm just wondering are the gearboxes swappable or will I have to get the lsj gearbox rebuilt thanks

 

A 2.4 is not supercharged like your original lsj. And no the trans will not bolt right up. Lsj uses the f35 while the 2.4 uses the f23

 

yes it will bolt up just need to get all the mounts cables and shifter and axles

 

Don't you have to get a spacer too for the engine to be able to spin freely?
