09 SS/TC Sedan
Just got my car tuned at Jennetty Racing of Waterbury, CT. What a great call that was. The car put down 296whp/308wtq. I was hoping for just over 300whp but I think that was only to say that I had over 300whp. I can't complain. It was wicked hot yesterday, about 90 degrees, so maybe that would have an effect on the numbers? I don't have a clue. I know colder air helps. The ride home was ridiculous. Second gear wheel spin is just stupid. I will post up the graph when I can.
Performance mods to date are an Injen Intake and Charge Pipes. I was going to wait on a turbo back exhaust system from Modern Performance, but I called and they said it wont be for months. Maybe that will free up some power when I bolt that on.

For all you know it could have been 100 degrees with 90% humidity and he was on a dyno jet 24 instead of the 48.

it was very hot, 90+, and pretty humid. and i have seen cars with comparable mods with lower numbers. i was very happy with the result and i am pretty sure Ted has alot of experience, he wouldn't let a car go out of his shop if he didnt think it was right.
i have no idea what i am talking about when it comes to dyno's but they have a 'Superflow SF-840 Chassis Dyno'. that is from thier website.
Janetty uses HPT to tune vehicles. I keep meaning to throw the sheets up... I am getting to it.

w/ out a base line, these dyno #'s really dont prove anything. if you baselined 260, and afterwards ended up w/ 296 but another car base lined at 220 and ended up w/ 256 chances are that is the dyno, and the cars would perform similarly.
you both would have gained 36 HP from tune/parts.

are you seriously saying a SS would base line at 260? or just as an example. On the same dyno etc. SS's shouldnt be much more than 10hp away from eachother... anyway like I said in my first post. It seems conservative, but hey if you are happy with it thats what matters...that and if its a safe tune.

ALL DYNOS ARE DIFFERENT, ALL BAROMETRIC PRESSURE IS DIFFERENT, TEMPS ARE DIFFERENT, HUMIDITY IS DIFFERENT.
So last time I checked when the 4 things that determine dyno numbers are different, then guess what????
YOU WILL GET A DIFFERENT READING.
You cant honestly think his car is running at 8.0 A/F.
You do know that maybe the shop owner just disconnected the A/F bung and had it read 8.0 all the way across.
Pretty much what I am saying is that the Wideband wasn't connected to his car if it was it was not working.

that is exactly what it was... he said he was going to install a wideband, which i assume measures the A/F, but he never did. that would make sense then because the rpm readout sheet stated that the A/F never changed.
