Dyno Numbers. What do you think if.....

With my current setup I dyno'd 255whp/220tq on a mustang dyno. The main mods on the car right now are GM Stage 2 with a 2.9" pulley, Vibrant header/dp, GMPP Sport exhaust, Injen CAI all still on a GMS2 tune (which sucks). So...

Updated!!!!!!! Here's what I'm 90% sure I'm going to go with... Thoughts?


Ported/polished sc
2.7" pulley
60lb injectors
h/e
Dual pass with Option B
2-step colder plugs
Dyno tune
TTR Engine Mount
S1 Rotated Mounts (possibly)

and that'll be on top of what I have on the car now...
Injen intake
Gmpp Perf Exhaust
Vibrant Header/dp

What do you guys think?

Always figure low that way your pleasently surprised and not disapinted. I'll say 275 figuring conservativly and hoping for more.

That's what I did the first time I got dyno'd haha. I was just prayin it'd be over 250whp. I'd love it to be 275whp+. That'd make my day haha.

With the pulley, injectors and re-tune I'd say 25 more hp should be able to be done realisticly without much of a problem. Well that depends on the tune I have to add

I predict more like 265hp and 245 tq, he will likely gain much more torque then hp.

TTP tuned my car, they did a great job. My AFRs are perfect and I make over 325 rwtq from 1500 to 6000 rpm.

Yea I've been do their last dyno day and talked to a bunch of people and never heard of a problem. They're good guys.

2 questions. I have pretty much the same mods as you do. stage 2 w/ 2.9 pully , I also want to go to a 2.7 and 60 injectors. Can i just replace the pulley without a extensioner or what ever the thing is called? and can HPTUNERS retune my GMP stage tune2 pcm?

right now your only downfall is that gmstg2 tune, id expect a nice increase in power with a custom tune and your new setup

I noticed a nice gain in sound after porting. Obviously changed enough airflow to lean me out a ton and blow.

Polishing won't net you anything.

haha yea obviously the polish wont do anything. Hopin to pick up a few whp with the port. Just worried about driving the car that far to the shop untuned. Im running kinda lean now as it is

If you are lucky you might hit 270. But i would expect to be somewhere in the 260's.

All depends on the tuner tho. Ive seen 2.7 setups run anywhere from 245whp to 280whp.

Not to be a dick, but RL near me with 2.7/60s/meth just got his motor fucked and i think that's who tuned him =/.
Scratched up sleeve in #3 and think the piston was done too.

2.7's with meth can a lot of times be driver error and not tune. depends on how they were driving it....i personally don't think ive heard anything bad about ttp

^^good numbers man. I assume thats a custom tune with some cooling mods? The gms2 tune is whats killing me right now.

I personally know 5 or so cars on his tunes that blew, and many many more that are unhappy with the tune.
