EAS Dyno Day Results
Sup guys, I know this isn't supposed to go here but maybe some will enjoy. I got a stock turbo baseline to see what I can max these suckers out before I pull them out. I shocked everyone there as well as myself. I wasn't expecting the numbers I got, not even close to it.
EAS and all the crew are some of the nicest people I have met. My dyno was scheduled at 1230 and I still came at 8 just to hang out. I can't wait to do it again, this time with my single turbo
Minimal mods: BMS DCI, BMS DP, Walbro inline, JB4 e85 BB flash Map7. Full e85.

Thank you brotha!! They're not that expensive at all, I'm paying 330 a month 3k down.
Haha, it's very fast man! It will be much faster than the cobalt without a doubt. I had to dyno to get a baseline with stockers. This just came in the mail on Friday... What a beauty.

Nice numbers man!
You still have at least one thing in common with a balt. The stock turbo(s) fall on their faces after 5500rpm. The similarities pretty much end there though.. lol

You're doing a custom single setup, right?
Man, I think I gotta sell my Cobb and get with a BB/JB4 stack.
No FMIC? Those numbers are crazy.

Well don't forget labor on some parts. So far I put like 2k into the car with little extra stuff like trunk and bumper, shift knob, pedals etc. The fuel pump is tricky too do as well and cost $$ for labor, unless you can do it yourself. It's a better platform than the cobalt LOL. The 135 is amazing, I drove my buddies the other night and it's faster than mine cause of weight...

I'll probably sell when its actually warm enough to install the JB4. Still -10F, etc.
I think my laptop should work, since I got it setup for inpa.
Yeah 135i with no/little options would for sure be a rocket.
I got a pig with the awd system, but it still moves lol.
The N54 platform only really started making ground in like 2010-2011, so the surface is barely scratched.
Single turbo setups are only recently becoming a thing.

Probably would be hard to find an XI in Cali, haha.
I can spin tires, but I'm not sure if its because of the below freezing temps.
Ass can definitely come out, but the front wheels are soon to correct that.
I searched high and low for a RWD fully loaded, but there's none in MI.
Half this engine is forged already, so I'm interested to see what comes out as far as internal upgrades. I'll have to follow your build.

HPFP is covered for 10years/120k miles, but for the other things you're gonna want to be a good DIYer or have CPO. A water pump is like ~$300ish for the part.
Just do your research. The car is an absolute blast. It just requires a lot more maintenance.
I'm pretty active on e90post, but fastgti69 prefers bimmerboost. Both forums are worth browsing around for some info.

It's the same engine in the 335 and the 535. They're not the most reliable, due to major parts like the water pump, oil filter gasket, valve cover gasket, hpfp going bad to name a few things.

So far the only thing to go out since I had this car is the infamous water pump and thermostat LOL. I just did that 3 weeks ago, cost me 600$ and that's all dealer wholesale price I get cause I work at a shop. Still not cheap at all but it is what it is.

Yea, no biggy. It's just regular **** that you gotta do. I'd rather replace that now, then have it go out when I'm on the way to a 1/2 mile air strip event etc...
