Fastest LNF ???
1 Attachment(s)
So for awhile I have been posting here and there about my friends LNF build we were building at the same time but i ended up deploying. His build is darton sleeves, wiseco pistons, carrillo rods, PTE 6262 dbb not sure of ar. with FBO. so he dynoed the other day on race gas i believe and put down 626hp. heres the sheet. Im not sure if this is the highest HP for a lnf but i am impressed with him and now im considering the upgrade more for my 5857dbb.:
Attachment 56074 |
this is also a 2010 SS coupe. believe boost was at 28psi timing im not sure and there r no fuel mods besides S1 cams. full treadstone kit w/o the intercooler we are both running hahn intercoolers.
Im confused, thread title says fastest LNF and you post a dyno sheet.
this would be more most powerful cobalt or lfn question not fastest. lol but damn impressive numbers man!
I believe Sythe_Snake put down more, but I could be wrong. Regardless those are huge numbers!
impresive numbers. id like to see a different graph where it shows powerband by rpms and afrs. although the graph shows the power curve id still like to see it in rpms lol.
what did he do about fueling? 5th injector etc? |

Is it just me.....or does the torque # seem low for that amount of HP. Although I realize it depends on the turbo too
how does he have traction?

he does not run that on the street from wut i hear and srry bout the thread i was thinking the lnf putting down most power, from wut we talked bout on fb he just wanted to see where his build was at, he is running 20psi on the street, fuel mods are none and srry thats the only graph he posted. i can ask if he has any.
Isn't he a black coupe from NM?
no he was tuned in NM he from el paso we both stationed together.
IIRC ZZP made 700 on e-85
Oh my... thats like 3x more power than i probly have  very impressive indeed!

I'm by no means calling you a liar, but I just find it really hard to believe with that much power being made. |

nope, that's actually very common. Large turbos are notorious for making quite a bit less torque than hp, especially on a 4banger.
no fueling mods???? Not even cams with an upgraded fuel lobe?? :wtf: I'm by no means calling you a liar, but i just find it really hard to believe with that much power being made. |
He said in the first post he has cams. On c16 I see that very doable.
very solid numbers for sure. but yeah zzp is in the 700s
interested on the fuel used though |
i could dare imagine 600+hp it bad enough with 300hp trying to keep it going in the snow
i'm pretty sure if someone is driving around a 600hp car during winter, they aren't going to open it up in the snow
There's lag...and then there's lag...
great power curve...not |

Seen the car in person, it has no fueling mods done. And it is the Highest HP daily driven LNF from what I seen posted on here
Thats the turbo I'm upgrading to. Should have it in next month or so.
Nice numbers though. |
