he doesnt, they tested the block on the car but it was never been on the streets like that. I highly doubt the tranny/axles would last unless it was seriously built. Even then, like you just asked, how would it get traction.

a guy in my church group stated this over the weekend when i was talking about the cobalt. "i dont see why you like FWD theres no way you can even get over 600HP out of a transaxle" wish i had a smart phone to show him this

yes cobalts suck. just because someone built the **** out of a motor to make power doesnt unsuck the balts. yes they were better than cavaliers but you have to be better than the rest of the segment to matter. i bought because it was dirt cheap since chevy cant sell **** without a pile of cash on the hood.

idk thats a matter of opinion its no god car thats for sure but for a cheap 4 banger other then the interior its a pretty good car... in that case almost every car sucks to you other then 50k+ cars... srt4's can be extremely fast but there interior is **** so does that make them suck? hondas some are extremely fast but have no interior at all... that means they suck too? caliber srt4, mazda ms3 they must all suck too right?

around my community college I see at least 1-2 civic hatchbacks a day and all they do is lower them, then put some cheap dumpster quality bodykit and throw a sub in the trunk then drive around with their windows down.(mainly hispanics, dont mean to discriminate, its the truth lol)

and that goes with every single car on earth no matter if its a 4 cylinder, 6, 8, or 12... the fact is that its a really cheap 4 cylinder and can make big power... everyone who doesnt drive a cobalt hates on them most of the time. Seeing one making 898whp will change some peoples minds.

It's like talking to kids, no matter what a cobalt does it still sucks because any car can be made into a monster... Okay and this car is a monster... That's the point, when people rag and say cobalts aren't sh*t and can't be anything then they see this and b*tch that any car can be made into a monster. You just won't win. but whatever, guess unless you drive a +50k car it "ain't sh*t" I say go on a different forum and complain or talk sh*t. This car is amazing for what it is, plain and simple. Booh hoo it doesn't come with a complete leather interior i still payed 23k and spent around 1500 to 2000 and now it's got 330ish whp and 350ish wtq so yeah its a great platform, so gtfo and stfu!!!

why would I want to drive a completely gutted car? As you can see in my post... I would rather have a fast car with my interior still inside, air conditioning, sound deadening material all still there... If I wanted a really fast car I would buy a cobra, supra, or a vette not a honda and no its not like saying if I had a 1000hp cobalt it would beat this... Its free to rip all your **** out of a car and RICER as **** unless its a legit track car and nothing else.

My best friend has a 98 civic hatch making 405hp and still has everything inside his car. and with that in mind he runs 10.2- 10.5 at the track.
And i dont know where you are from but most cobalts in my area are nothing but rice.
