07 Cobalt speakers work, no turn signal clicking?

Hi, I bought my cobalt in may and I just realized that the turn signal is supposed to click as well and the door is supposed to chime. All my speakers work perfect. So I can't figure out why my turn signal isn't clicking. I do believe my speakers are stock. What should I do next. All other forums state to replace the speaker but theirs were broke.

My aftermarket head unit clicks and chimes but I had the guy wire everything for the steering wheel controls and everything else. It’s possible yours (if aftermarket) was cheaped out on and some of the wiring wasn’t completed.

05 (and maybe even 06) cars dont use the door chime through the speaker, so they are unaffected by installing an aftermarket deck. the others however must have the proper pac module to retian the chimes.

My 06 Cobalt doesn't chime through speaker apparently because I wired in aftermarket HU with no adapter module or anything, just cut and soldered the wires I needed.

Mine is an aftermarket head unit. Previous owner installed one of his own, but it was removed before I put mine in. So did he mess up the wiring. It's not that big of a deal, but I am kind of curious as to what he/ I did to make the noise not work.

what happens is the factory radio essentially stays turned on and the door chimes play through the head unit on the front left channel. if you use the cheap install harness you lose the chimes, and that sounds like whats happened. to get the chimes back you need a module and it becomes the door chimes. companies like Pac, Axxes and metra make them. here is the metra one
