can i just throw one in there? or is there a way to turn the amp up on the stock one?

search... its been answered 100x's. Also before you say you did and only sc's came up. Its the same sub as all the others

no its a oem dual 2 ohm sub (oem meaning they only sell to one customer GM) easily replaceable with a shallow sub that's dual 2 (very few are) or ran at half power with a single 2 (still not common) or at 1/4th power with a single 4 (most common). So as i tell everyone else if your going to spend the money on a new sub which im assuming you want only to get louder then buy an aftermarket amp for it too.

and no the stock amp cannot be turned up

Thanks for the tip, and yes I read you answered already turning the amp up was not possible.
