09 SS Subwoofer

Just out of curiosity, anyone know the specs of the stock pioneer subwoofer (size, etc.)?

jk about the wattage but its pretty low

So, few months ago i had my head unit replaced under warranty and my friend who manages the service department said they didnt program the head unit for the cobalt (whatever that means) so now, my turn signal indicator, the chime for the warnings and my stereo is twice as loud as it used to be... (sry for the thread jack) but the sub is really powerful its just program to run limited...

sorry to say but that means ur friend is either an idiot or a liar.

correct answer is he ordered a non pioneer radio for ur pioneer setup.... the hu gives more voltage making everything louder, but this isnt a programmable feature

funny you say that. the day i bought my car they replaced the headunit and now my blinker, door chimes, etc are overly loud. how do i fix that??

its an oem radio from a GM dealership. wouldn't it have to be a pioneer?

nope they make the non pioneer radio for ls/lt and since it doesnt say pioneer on it anywhere its an easy mistake to make. but theres nothing u can do other then buying the right radio and paying for the dealership to program the vin to the car
