6.5" speaker choice help

I am installing a

Pioneer Avic-Z1

And a 1000 watt RMS sub
with a JBL GTO1201.1 II

I will also be installing a
JBL GTO75.4 II

I need some help picking speakers though, I was pretty set on JBL c608GTi but there at best 350 a pair and I want to put them in both front and rear deck so I was looking at these too, JBL P650c which are only about 200 each pair....

Any comments on either set would be appreciated.

The sub I'm running is an older version of this; Rockford Fosgate Punch Power DVC

I now have a second Cobalt SS to install in too, anyone have a different company to run Amps/speakers in that car with? I have a Cav with RF subs and amps and Infinity Components (had RF speakers and also had Pioneer speakers, infinity is the best so far), I have a LS Cobalt with Alpine Amp and Infinity components (sounds exceptional), And I'll have my Cobalt SS with JBL Amps and speakers except for RF sub(I hope it sounds great too) So what else do you recomend?

Go to a sound store adn listen to them if you can find a place aroudn that has them hooked up. Nothing can replace your ears as to what you think sounds good.

I've heard both of them, and think they both sound good, But I won't really be able to tell untill I get them in my car...I'm just not sure if the extra 2-300 bucks is worth the difference with my amp...114 RMS is a little under the RMS for the expensive ones but also a bit over the RMS for the cheaper ones....ugh, so many choices

Are JBL Amps underrated? I know there Crown ones are.

Yes JBL does normally under rate their amps but you have to be careful at what you are looking at. That amp's ratings are given to you for 14.4 V. Now normally cars do not give 14.4 V to amps you are normally seeing around 12.x V. So this means that you will probably not really be getting the 104W you will probably be getting some where around 80-90 W.

not that I'm saying I don't believe you, but my cavalier, when running with Alternator on gives about 13.8 -14.2 volts....I know the Battery itself is only giving off about 12.4 volts though, I have metered the system both on and off...Does the Cobalt Alternator not give much juice to charge the car?

I have also decided that I would like to give the speakers somewhere in the range of 200-250 watts RMS at a future date...(read as when money shows up)

thanks

When my car is running I always see a voltage of 14.5 to 15.3 coming from my alternator and powering my amp.
