6x8s?

Out of curiosity, would 6x8 speakers fit in the rear deck?

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...ce_6820cs.aspx

Just curious if these would fit.

If not, I would like some help finding good 6x9 components to fit in the back. Will be running an amp pushing ~100 rms.

Or would it be more practical to run some coaxial 6x9s?

I would assume that they would fit but the screws might not match up not sure. i would go with 6x9s. my 6x9s felt like not fitting in all the way because how the frame is, so i put the speaker in from the bottom and screwed it in. just a tip if you have that problem

They will not fit properly, if you really want to do a component set in the back then I suggest a 6 1/2 set up. You just need to find an adapter capable of turning a 6x9 hole into something to drop 6 1/2s in. Or just fabricate your own.

anything will fit anywhere if you try hard enough but no a 6X8 wont easily fit in the 6X9 hole. i would probably just do a coax and call it done. the hertz energy and hi energy 6X9 coax sound pretty badass

CDT makes a 6X9 comp set: CL-69CX
