AM i what!!??!??!!?!?

I went to a car audio shop and for two 6.5" alpine type S and two 6x9 alpine type S, they want to charge me $265 installed. Is this a good price or am i getting ripped off. I found the same speakers on ebay brand new for pretty cheap.

Ebay will ALWAYS be cheaper, no matter what you're buying. You also need to take into account labor. If you are smart enough to install them yourself, then obviously use Ebay. But no, you are not getting ripped off paying retail price and installation.

You can't really compare prices to ebay. Ebay doesn't give you half the things that a retail store would. You wont get any type of return policey if they go bad for what ever reason, and you are never really know what you get. You might be getting a referbed for all you really know. If you check out the best buy prices then the 6.5s are 109.99 and the 6x9's are 129.99, so about 240 before taxes, install, and service plan. So all and all you are looking at a pretty good price.
