amp for a car pc????

I'm installing a car pc soon and eliminating any sort of headunit in my car.
I'll obviously have to amplify the audio coming out of the pc if I want to hear it in my car.

I dont need or want a ton of base but I will be adding a 10" sub.
So basically how powerfull an amp would I need to push the sub, 2 6.5" and 2 6x9" speakers. How many watts would be good for this?

Also what other concerns should I be considering other than the amp wattage?

Thanks for any help.

a 4 ch 100 watt amp would be fine for the highs but remember for volume control you will need to use the carpc.

the amp you need depends on the speakers and the sub, a 100rms 4 channel cannot push 4 speakers and a sub

i would say one 4 channel for teh 4 speakers, and a mono amp for the sub...also are you running stock speakers?

yep, when installing a carpc, you should be looking at the audio portion the same as if you were hooking up a system using rca outs off the back of a deck.

are you using an aftermarket sound card? I would suggest you do so, as this will give you so much more fidelity as compared to the majority of sound cards.
