does anybody know the metra antenna adaptor part number we need

If your car had XM radio in it from the factory then you need the Chrysler adapter

i can get my whole system from sonic for around 75-80 cheaper than what i paid... all my **** is going back to abc tomorrow and im getting everything from sonic...

 

the ant adapter is year dependent not xm radio dependent

 

So even the 07+ base stereo's need the chrysler adapter.

I was under the impression that all Pioneer stereo's from 07 and up came with the XM radio built in, and that the base models did not.

When I said XM radio it was just an easier way of saying "do you have the pioneer system or the base 4 speaker" cuz I thought that the base sysetm still needed the GM ant adapter.

If I was wrong then I'm sorry for the mis-leading advice.

 

lol thats all good but yes all 07+ cobalts need the chrysler along with most gm vehicles, most of the new fords as well

i couldn't tell you the reason for the conversion but people have gone so far to rename the chrysler adapter the "euro adapter" since alot of cars are starting to use it

 

ok so i need the chrysler one...... even tho i have the base 4 speaker system i still had xm...

 

Yeah sorry about that, Just go get the Scoshe or whatever there callled version from wallmart, there like $5.00

 

getting it thru sonicelectronix for free with my headunit

.... btw, i returned all my **** to abc and have to wait til wednesday to order from sonicelectronix, the ****** 12" dvc 4ohm p2s went out of stock over night... will be back in wednesday

this route, im saving $90

... u may say only 90, but that will pay for most of my lowering springs in the spring

i also received my harness today.... it plugs in but i dont have the headunit yet to test it out, i think it only had like 12 pins in it........... on the package it said pioneer system and would not retain onstar or chimes.......

 

yah man and make sure the pinout is correct mine wasnt

if you want you can post a pic and ill tell you if it is correct

mines different.... it has 2 white wires, 2 gray, 1 orange, then a yellow and black on the end
