Looking at ways to do an IB setup with 2 10" subs in the rear deck. Anybody else done this?

Can't see this being worth it, why not just get 1 12 in a small sealed box... It will prob sound better

I use my trunk on a daily basis, and can't really afford to lose trunk space. Also, it makes it much harder to steal when i park my car in shady neighborhoods.

do what i did, disconnect the trunk release by the steering wheel so they have to have the key to access the trunk

but i understand about needing trunk space...all I can say is i know that Fi makes a sub specifically for IB www.ficaraudio.com

I've already got the subs picked out, I'm just trying to see if anybody else has done one in a Delta, so I can get ideas of how to mount mine. But yes, Fi does make some damn nice subs

So I'm guessing nobody has done this....okay.

Can somebody post up a picture of the rear deck of our cars, without the cover on it?

I've thought about doing it. I don't see why you couldn't. I was going to use Boston Acoustics G1 8s'. I didn't really look at doing anything bigger, but you might be able to fit 2 10s.

yea ive seen the rear deck plenty of times and theres room for 2 10's...

either way your going to want to put ALOT of vibration damping on both sides of the rear deck

just make a false rear deck out of 3/4 mdf then you shouldn't have to hack your rear deck up(encase you want to return it to stock) you could just use the holes for the 6x9's just for the 10's basket. i was thinking about going with the kicker l7 10's myself. Their basket is not all that much bigger that a standard 6x9

ib would be cool but very inefficient. also in the rear deck its not going to be anything worth destroying your car over
