your best bet with those subs would be a 2 channel amp bridged (made mono)... and maybe its me or maybe im just not that familiar with alpine (which im not) but that doesnt look like a 1kw rms sub

 

if you really want to maximize those subs with an amp, its going to cost ya.

 

Just wondering do you car about a brand name? honestly id suggest getting a FI car audio subwoofer along with a fosgate amp.

also how much power are you expecting to run? 2krms is alot but if your going that route i know the FI Q line will handle it well, sound better then those alpines and cost half the price... if you would rather step it down some check out the SSD model lineup

iw as looking into the Jl but in canada i duno if its just me but its not easy to find them rather than just best buy and there expensive, im thinking more alone the lines of 1krms rms from both the subs (alpine X)

ebay, cant always trust espically when i wanna order things that cost above 500$, and criaglist duno wat that is lol

 

go to craigslist.org or google it. Its people who are locally trying to sell stuff you may catch a good deal in your area

 

I got Two 10" Jl subs, brand new in the boxes that I would let go, never bin used I got them for a great price just in case but they are just still sitting in my garage, let me know

 

I buy from Ebay without issue, you just have to shop from companies mostly, and the longer they have been there with good rep, the better. otherwise I buy from Sonicelectronics.com, Etronics.com, or Sounddomain.com. I ussually try google when looking for prices and if I find a good price at a "decent company" i try it out.
