Yeah upgrading to the 4 gauge with an 80amp fuse has cured all of my issues I'm excited. This is the first all of my components have worked in forever. I'm hoping I finally got all the kinks worked out and I wont have any more issues.

Dude sounds like exact problem i just had. IF u are running the stock AAS system. My vol should go almost to max but im goin to 20-35. I found out my amp clipped at high vols because my aftermarket alpine H/U was causing the stock amp to overheat and then it somehow triggered my sub amp to clip.

But deff use 4gauge wires for power and ground, i have a 150a fuse on my power wire. Im having my amp bypassed tuesday so i should be good to go then.
